Overview
Rather than a separate app you log into, Convily turned the email inbox itself into the CRM, letting AI handle customer relationships where the conversations already happen.
It was an ambitious bet on an AI-native CRM. The product never publicly launched: it only ever reached private beta. The thinking behind it carried forward into later go-to-market work.
As CTO I led the build from scratch with a small team, a big bet on an AI-native CRM. Taking it only to beta taught me hard lessons about timing a product to its market.
